Tracy Kelly of Tracy Kelly Design was tasked with upgrading and refurbishing the existing Little Ongava camp: “It was a small refurbishment, but an impactful one,” says Tracy: “I was very fortunate in that my clients gave me the opportunity to express myself and make changes I felt would best enhance the buildings - we were not making structural changes to the lodge, but primarily focusing on colour, soft furnishings and new layouts. Previously the interiors were bright and colourful, with the inspiration and colour palette drawn from the Purple Pod Terminalia tree – we changed that and went more grounded - more natural and neutral – yet so elegant.”
